Robert Raleigh Jr. D’Hue

1917-2007

D’Hue was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1917.

He was a portrait painter and landscape architect. He served in the Army during World War II.

He was a student at the Yale School of Fine Art, he also studied at Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts, Liege, Belgium. And he exhibited at the Museum of Liege, Belgium.

In California he was an art educator and lecturer.

He is listed in Cederholm, Dictionary of Afro-American Artists, and Who Was Who in American Art 1564-1975, and Askart.com.
