Born in Puerto Limón, Costa Rica, on November 22, 1956. Law degree, self-taught visual artist and cultural manager.

Since 1976 he has been working on the subject of children marginalized and abused by society.

Lover of drawing and the technique of pastel chalk, he embodies an ornament full of spiritual and pre-Columbian elements in his work.

His work has been exhibited and is part of collections in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Active member of the Costa Rican Association of Visual Artists (ACAV), where he served as President from January 2017 to February 2019.

Founder and director of the Gráfica Génesis art workshop since 1999, where he has had the opportunity to research and develop the technique of engraving in association with important national artists, and to make graphic proposals for regional museums. From that platform begins an important cultural management that has been maintained to date.

He has also developed his career as a lawyer, serving as legal advisor in various Costa Rican organizations.
