Oscar Hoge was a Belgian artist who was born in Ghent in 1884 and who died there in 1965.

He was a painter, watercolorist and decorative painter.

Education at Sint-Lucas in Ghent.

Painted landscapes, cityscapes, mythical scenes, figures, portraits, still lifes, flowers.

He painted murals in the thermal baths, the hotels Splendid and Forum in Ostend and in the church in Middelkerke.

Was a member of the Guild of Saint Luke and Saint Joseph in Ghent. Participated in the Salons in Ghent.
