Walter Nowatka

Born 1941

Nowatka A New Jersey painter, he was a student of Samuel Brecher, John Grabach, and Henry Martin Gasser.

His early works are mid century structures and figures, then he shifted to Impressionism.

He graduated form the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts as a painting major.

He continued his studies at Empire State College, State University of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree with a concentration in Art Preservation.

He also studied Art History at New York University and painting with acrylics under Rudolph Baranik at the Art Students League.
