Walter Nowatka Born 1941 Nowatka A New Jersey painter, he was a student of Samuel Brecher, John Grabach, and Henry Martin Gasser. He graduated form the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts as a painting major. He continued his studies at Empire State College, State University of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree with a concentration in Art Preservation. He also studied Art History at New York University and painting with acrylics under Rudolph Baranik at the Art Students League.
