Michael Martin

Michael Martin was a scholarship student at the Carnegie Institute and the Art Institute of Chicago, where he graduated with homers.

He worked as an artist and taught art classes all his life.

His body of work is figures and portrait painting and specialized in pencil drawings of children as well.

He lived a great deal of his life in Layette ID. His works, mainly drawings of people in everyday life are in the permanent collection of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, where there will be an exhibit of his work in December of 2016.
