Jules Scalbert

1851-1928

Jules Scalbert, a pupil of Isidore Pils and Henri Lehmann, exhibited at the Salon de Paris from 1876, and later at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he became a member in 1883. He was awarded an honourable mention in 1889 and third-class medals in 1891 and 1901.
