Judith Klausenstock was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended Mass. School of Art and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Harvard University; additional art studies at San Francisco State University, University of California, and College of Marin.

She exhibited extensively in Northern California; Her paintings are now part of private and public collections throughout the country.
