Wolf was a member of the Salon d’Automne where he exhibited, participated at the Salon des Tuileries.

Very little is known about this artist, his style is typical of the School of Rouen painters of the early 20th Century. His use of color and technique in applying his paint can be compared to that of his friend Pierre Hodé one of Rouen’s most important modernist. He was also associated with Georges Capon, another of the artist represented in this book.

Wolf painted nudes and interior scenes with beautiful women.
