Herman H. Graff

1921-2004

Graff was a professor of drawing and painting at California State University, Long Beach California.

He was born in Ottawa, Illinois in 1921.

BAE Studies at De Paul University in 1952. MAE studies at Northwestern University, MAE and BAE. He studied at the School of the Chicago Art Institute in 1956, and post graduate studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti e Liceo in Florence, Italy.

He exhibiter at Chicago and Vicinity Show of the Art Institute of Chicago, American Painters in Florence, Italy, Graphic Exhibition, Evanston, Il., International Exhibition Westwood, California, Laguna Beach Art Museum, 13th Annual Drawing and Small Sculpture Show, San Diego Fine Art Museum, North Dakota Annual Exhibition, Grand Forks, ND, American Drawing Exhibition in Philadelphia, where we won the Hallmark Purchase Prize, National Print and Drawing Exhibition, Kalamazoo, MI, National Drawing Exhibition Athens, OH, Oklahoma City, OK, Painting Exhibition Albuquerque, NM, International Watercolor Biennial Mexico City, Mexico.

His works are in many private collections.
