Emilio VilA 1887-1967 Vila as born in Llagostera, Catalonia, Spain. He later studied in Barcelona. During the Spanish Civil War. He moved to Paris, where he met Henri Toulouse-Lautrec and Pablo Picasso. He created poster works that included Creme Simon, La Danse, La Nuit de l'Elegance, and more. He returned to Llagostera in 1947, at the age of 60 He died at age 80 |
