Carole Harrison is listed in the published books Davenports Art Reference and Price Guide and in R.R. Bowker's 1994 edition of Who Was Who in American Art.

According to The Who's Who book Carole Harrison was born in Chicago , Illinois and studied art at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1955 and received a master from that institution in 1956.  also furthered education overseas by studying at the Central School of Art in London, England with a Fulbright scholarship in 1958. 

She specialized in sculptures of Bronze and welded metal and copper. The artist has several sculptures in public collections. 

She exhibited art at the Detroit Institute of Art, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1959, Herron Art Museum in Indianapolis , Indiana in 1967,  Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in 1976, National Academy of Design in New York in 1982 and many other venues. Not many sculptures by this artist come up for sale.
