Alice Crawford

1929-2001

 

Alice Crawford was an American artist and muralist from Ann Harbor, she exhibited there in the 1950s and 1960s. She was an art teacher at the Huron High School, where she painted a mural featuring Albert Einstein. She also exhibited at the University. Crawford also did set designs for a the Civic Theater in 1958 for a production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." She designed sets for many other productions at local theaters.
