Albert David Born 1896 Albert David was a pupil of Jean Boucher at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited in Paris, at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français: he received an honourable mention in 1921, a gold medal at the 1937 Exposition Universelle and a third-class medal in 1938. He was made a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur in 1938, then won a second-class medal in 1943. He also exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs. He sculpted several monuments to the dead of World War I, some decorative low reliefs and some pottery.
